NICHOLSON SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES. Electric Telegraph—Press Association WAIROA, This Day. Ray Nicholson who came in contact with a power line reported last Tuesday succumbed to injuries in the airoa hospital this morning. Further particulars show that the unfortunate young man \vhc-n he came in contact with the -50.000 volt lme had his clothing enveloped in flames and as a result was stripped ot all his clothing with the exception of his boots and socks. A fellow emjiloyee who is suffering from burns received in putting out the names f 1 deceased resembled a b urnan torch. 1* rightful injuries and shock were sustained but despite these Nicholson retained consciousness practically up to the time of his death.
