IN DIVORCE.
LOCAL RESIDENT SECURES DECREE. Ele o V? A ™ - Prt ‘ ss Association PALMER S lON N., La st Xight. Helga Theresia Morris, formerly of Maxidata in ok a, and now of Palmerston North (All’ S. Tiimev’) sought the dissolution of her marriage with Edward Charles Morris, wireless specialist, formerly of Wellington. and now of parts unknown. Petitioner gave evidence that she was married on December 28, 1922. Her husband went on a business trip, saying he would send for her when ht; was settled. After receiving one letter from her husband towards the end of 1923, petitioner had not heard from, or seen him nor had he ever sent her any money, and she had to support herself and the child by her own efforts.
Corroborative evidence was given by Clara Gudrun Olsen, of Wellington. a sister of petitioner. His Honour granted a decree nisi, to be moved absolute at the expiration of three months, with custody ol the one child o. the marriage to petitioner.
