ASHHURST YARDING. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report a full yarding of all classes of sheep at the above fixture on Wednesday last, with a total clearance. Limbs of all grades sold freely. A good yarding ol cattle was also penned and for these the values were firm on other recent sales. Quotations : Woolly b.fr lambs, 15s, 15s 9d, 16s 6d, 17s, 17s 6d to 18s 6d; shorn b.f. lambs, 12s, 14s 6d to 16s 6d : wether lambs, shorn, 12s 6d. 13s 6d to 14s 3d ; ewe lambs, 16s 9d to 19s 6d ; small m.s. lambs, 9s Gd, 10s 6d, 11s to 12s 9d ; fat ewes, heavy prime. 15s. Messrs Y\ right. Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on the Johusonville sale held on Tuesday as follows : To tlie usual attendance of buyers we submitted a lull yarding of cattle and an average yarding of sheep. The cattle yarding comprised mainlv good quality bullocks and cows, with a few pens of inferior sorts. A good sale resulted at prices Tor prime heel on a par with last week's rates, while* plain cattle were not in demand. in the sheep section, wethers were dull of sale, whilst there was a good demand for ewes at last week's rates, while plain cattle were not in demand.
