PERSONAL.
Mr N. Bower has been elected a member of the Pahiatua Bowling Club. Mr and Mrs J. W. Sturton have returned to Pahiatua after an extended holiday in the north. Mr and Mrs St urges s and family, of Nuhaka, are tin* guests of Mr and Mrs Harold Smith. Mrs -J. G . Swain.son, Miss Frances and Master Geoffrey Swain son are home again after a shorif visit to Wanga nui. Mrs Walton White (Tane) is visiting Mis Trevor Beetham (Masterton) and Miss Veda Rutherford (Makuri) is also in Masterton for the tennis tournament. The Rev. (’. 51. and Mrs Roberts left for Foxton ben.- h to-day. Miss Marie Harvey, of Mangatainova, is an inmate of the Tararua Private Hospital. Mrs H. McQuilkin. of Ruawhata, who lias been seriously ill, is on a health recuperating trip to Wellington . Captain Hamilton Nimmo and Dr. -I. Robert Boyd, of Wellington, have been fishing in the Pahiatua district and were the guests of Mr and Sirs Gordon Smith, of Hamua.
