A crowd of 15,000 paid about 80*000 dollars to witness the fight which few expected to last over a few rounds. Retzlaff was knocked completely limp, however, almost before the spectators w-ct*c aware that the bout wa,s under wait. Alter Retzlaff missed liis first punch Louis unleashed a shower of paralysing rights and lefts which rained on his opponent's head, face and jaw. He dropped to the floor for a count of seven, but managed to to regain his feet only to fall again and this time for the full count Louis weighted 11*91 and Retzlaff 19841b5.
