Alavromichalis, who. interviewed after tho ceremony, paid a. tribute to the British hospitality to King George who would have a triumphal home-coming, though there would be no coronation because it was stipulated that the money normally spent on festivities should be devoted to charities. He said King George would depart on November 14th boarding a. Greek warship at Brindisi and would be escorted to Greece* by the entire fleet

King George subsequently participated in a :■ pecial thanksgiving at tho Greek Orthodox Church where he was greeted by loyal cutcries. The King sat in the front of a crowded congregation on a golden chair midst a group of relatives. At the conclusion King Goorjrr* kissed the Cross and partook of the Sacra inent. King George lunched with Their Majesties at Buckingham Palace and had dinner with the Greek Legation.
