It "«**• decided to holt*, over the s °h< nit* to raise funds to build a grandstand and in the meantime to assist to procure mcw< r d other improvements that are immediately inquired to retain the benefit ot tht* improvements so tar effected by the Borough Council. lth this object in view it was agreed to stage a wheelbarrow championship. also tricycle races, slow bike rac es, and oth« r novelties, and later a games night will be held. Full particulars of these will I t ,>ublished later. An energetic committee, with Mr A EL South a- chairman and Mr s. Alattliew-s as secretary is working to make the events a real success.
