Mr Jack Lnttrell, father of Vnl Who IS a resident or the Hawke’s Hay district, m a letter to the secretary this morning states that he has been engaged to go in O’Brien’s corner. The O’Brien crowd is leaving nothing to chance. All- Lnttrell is bringing the Hawke’s Bay amateur bantam champion, Bert McIvay, with him inj the hope that the cluo may he able to match him. Malcolm Howard, of Masterton, is matched with Russ Page, now of lahiatua, in a. four-round contest. Ibis should be a slashing fi..ht Norman Pratt will meet his old-time opponent, Henderson of Masterton. I hese two boys have had some four ding-dong scraps.
