SCHOONER WRECKED.
WASHED ONTO BEACH. (Received 10.38 a.m.) United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Cop vri chi. SYDNEY. This Day. The schooner Pearl was caught in a heavy swell at the entrance to the Clarence River and washed on to the beach. It soon became a, total wreck. A crew of four swam ashore. The Pearl which was of modern design, was built in New Zealand and sailed to Australia.
