BRITISH DAIRY FARMERS’ ASSN.
N.Z. EMBARGO CRITICISED. (Received 11.30 a.m.) United Press Assn.—By Electric T el egraph—Copy r i gh t. LONDON. October 03 A,t a, meeting of this British Dairy Parmer-' Association Lord Bledisloe urged breed societies to have some control over the type of cattle exported to the Dominions. He made the suggestion because in two antipodean countries with which he had become very familiar in recent years th< re were a great ma ny dairy or so called dairy animals which were not the best advertisement to »he British breeds. All embargo which lie regretted to say; New Zealand unfortunately had ignoiantiv placed on the import of British pedigree stock was largely due to. the unfounded assumption that they have plenty oi foundation stock and can maintain their own supplies without looking to the Old Country for ’ new blood.
