FANCY DRESS DANCE.

KGHINUI FUNCTION. (From Our Own CorresDoudent.) Although not many appeared iu fancy costume at the; plain and fancy dress danca held iu the Kohinui Hall oil Friday evening, the function proved a huge success, both socially and financially. JYtiss N. Swunney, of Mangatainoka., rendered songs and kindly played extras while Air Ted Payne also gave a i item on the mouth organ. Aliss H. Allan very kindly made and presented two woolly toys to be competed for amongst the- voinmer children. "

The lucky winner of the cake was Airs J. P. Olsen with No. 158.
