COUNTRY WOMEN.

FORMATION OF CLUB. A well-attended meeting of those interested in the formation of a Country Women’s Club was held recently in the Women’s Division Rooms in Masterton. It was decided to form a club, the opinion being generally expressed that it would meet a, long felt want for the many, country women coining to Masterton. Arrangements were made to sec-ure a suitable room on tlie ground floor ot Chilton Buildings, at the corner of Chapel and King Streets.

Tlie following officers were elected: President. Airs A. C. Gawitli (Eongbush) ; hon. secretary. Miss N. Boddington ; committee, Mesdamcs K. Groves (Eongbush), H. Holmes (Matahiwi), C. C. Horsbrugh (Wliareanu), A. lorns (Masterton), C. C. Jackson (Kopuaranga).
