DEALS OUT CRITICISM. Electric Telegraph— Association CARTERTON. This Day Mr Ben Rchert>, Labour candidate, addressed a large meeting at Carterton last night. He trenebantlv crici-ci-s.d the Government and advocated currency reform and guaranteed prices for primary products, using national credits to pay the fanners an average price. He denounced the Democrat borrowing proposals, holding that Labour would reinstate financial stability and give a chance to imr tin- debt.
V motion of confidence in the partv was carried unanimously.
