Miss H. V. Clapeott, inspector of telephone exchanges, is on an official visit to Pahiatua.
The death occurred at Niroaha last week of Mrs E. M. J. Cadwallader, relict of the late Mr W. A. Cadwallader, at the age of 69 years. Mrs Cadwallader suffered a stroke some time ago, and her death was not altogether unexpected. A burial service conducted by Rev. H. Watson, was held in the N i realm 1 hureh on Thursday. The pall bearers were Messrs M. Spring, A Spring, C. Goss, H. Nordell, T\ \V. Hereoc-k and R. Daniels. The interment took place at Clareville Two daughters, Mrs Wilkie and .Mrs R. Daniels, and one son, Mr L. Cadwallader, aie left to mourn their loss, and have the sympathy of a large circle of friends.
