RUGBY UNION AFFAIRS.
AIANAGEMENT COMAIITTEE ' AIEETS.
The management committee of the Bush Rugby Union met last evening in the office of the secretary (Air S. K. Siddells). There were present Alessrs R. J. Smith (chairman), C C. Sm.vth, o. Stone, C. Wilton, R. B. Humphrey, W. Ale Gill, W. J Henderson and H. Daniels. It was decided to write and thank the Hawke’s Bay Rugby Union for its action in paying all expanses of the Bush team in travelling to Napier for the trial game on Thursday, as well as the cost of board in Napier. I’lie \Va iraraipa Rugby Union wrote confirming July 3rd at Wairarapa and July 17th at Eketalmna as the dates for the annual home and home games, Bush v. Wairarapa. Wednesday, July 10th, was accepted as the date for the senior rep. match, Bush v. Manawatu, at Palmerston North. The Rangitikei Rugby Union njc.te accepting Wednesday, July 26th as the date for the first Bebbington Shield challenge match at Pahiatua. The Horowhenua Rugby Union entered a challenge for the Bebwngton Shield. The Carterton Football Club nominated a senior and junior team for tb<» seven-a-side tournament at Pahiatua on June 3rd. The Bush Hockey Association wrote thanking the Rugby Union tor its action in postponing all football. on Wednesday of last week on the occasion of the All-India—Bush hockey match. Mr R. J. Smith was appointed manager of the Bush team in Napier to-morrow. Wiickens, a. Nirealia. senior, was transferred to Old Boys and reclassified as a third grade player. R. G alb ally was transferred from Ba fiance to Athletic.
