MINIATURE RIFLES. Last Monday evening the Hukanui Miniature. Rifle- Club held their first championship shoot of- the new son. AVebb 76. Boys: Basil Sutherland 64; Colin Sutherland 60; L. Gardiner 50; Alan Alabey 50. LADIES GUILD. The ladies of the guild held their monthly meeting at the home of Airs L. AVornham and those present were Mesdames A. Lawrence, W. Watkins, E. A. Harrington, F. E. Lemberg, F. Sparkes, A. Mooney, N. Goodin, G. Sunnex, L. Wenham and Brown. Business was dealt with, after which afternoon tea was served, bringing an enjoyable afternoon to a close. SOCIAL ITEMS. Mr and Airs R. Fitzgerald, of Gisborne. have been staying with Air and Airs Chas. Tidy. M iss J. Booth, infant mistress at the local school, is holidaying with her parents in Greyinouth. Mrs J. Grant is visiting her mother in Stratford.
