At Pittsburg (Pennsylvania) Teddy Yarosz, of Monaca (Pennsylvania) won the world’s middleweight boxing title to-night, defeating the champion, Vince Dundee, of Newark (New Jersey) in a. slashing 15-round bout before 28,000 people. NEW ZEALAND AMATEURS. HASTINGS, East Night. Entries for the New Zealand amateur boxing championships to be held in Hastings next week, closed this evening, the total being 84 from 21 different associations. The draw takes place in Wellington to-morrow.
