AFTER 21 YEARS.

FACTORY AT RUAWHATA. The secretary of the Alangah.io cheese factory, Air G. Godfiey" Taylor, at the annual meeting of shareholders at Ruawhata yesterday afternoon congi atulated the company on reaching its twenty-first biithd.iv The district, he said, was, in his opinion, one of the best round Pah intua. Not only had the company reached its twenty-first, year but it had m this year obtained a record output. He again congratulated the company on having existed for twenty-one years and at present having practically no debt. This, he said, spoke well for the country and the settlers. The manager (Mr W. F. Cook) endorsed Mr Taylor’s remarks and saol it spoke well for the directors that thn company nas in the position it now held. They had the right men m the l ight places. The chairman (Air R C. Yates! moved a hearty vote of thanks to iilo secretary, manager an,l staff for the energy and interest thev had taken in their work. He also thanked suppliers for their assistmee during the year in supplying the best noik possible. He further thanked the secretary and manager for their kind remarks and said he felt sure that some form of celebration was called for on the occasion of the company reaching its 21st year. Mr -I. S. Bairs tow agreed with the chairman and moved that those present form themselves into committee to arrange for some' form of entertainment. This was seconded by the chairman and carried unanimously. It was decided that the company stand the cost 'which would ho practically nothing) and would thereby allow the local people to have a spell from arranging and organising thus enabling them to more thoroughly enjoy themselves. It was finally arranged to leave the organising in tile hands of the directors.
