GOLF SEASON.
PAHIATUA CLUB OPENS
The official opening of the Pahiatua Golf Club’s 193-1 season took place oil Saturday afternoon when over lorty attended to participate' in a mixed Canadian foursome. The 1 airways are not yet in the best order. They have been mown and are to be raked at an early date. As soon as some rain falls the course, will be in splendid order.
Saturday’s competition was won hv G. G. Nelson and Miss Yida Rutherford with a score of 46—1 (>—;«j 1 11ree pairs tied for second with nett thirty-eights: F. Anderson and Hiss Anderson, J Shekleton and Miss R~ Shokleton and P. R. Bop coy and Airs C Walker.
