United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Con vri ght. SYDNEY, April 8. The Australian Jockey Club was favoured with ideal weather for the concluding day of the autumn meeting at Randwick on Saturday. The track was in excellent order and there was an attendance of 32,000. The Doncaster winner, Chatham, continued his winning way with an easy victory in the O. AY. Cropper Plate. Golden AVings was favoured by the start. Due to ‘ had manners at the machine, Golden AVings was hurdled off at the outside, and he was moflng to take up his position when the barrier lifted. Making the most of the advantage, Golden Wings quickly established a substantial lead and be led round the turn but was unable to pace it in the final stages with the mighty Chatham.

The King’s Cup field, which comprised Australia’s best weight-for-age horses, including two Melbourne Cup winners, provided the most thrilling finish seen at Randwick for a long time. Peter Pan, Kuvera and Rogilla raced abreast for the final half furlong, Rogilla finally getting his nose in front a stride from the post. Kerry together were first into the straight, closely pressed by Peter Pan, Silver Scorn and Kuvera with Rogilla making a fast move. Passing the Leger Peter Pan and Kuvera held a slight advantage over Rogilla. Then ensued a thrilling struggle with the three horses abreast.
