MANGAMAIRE WOMEN’S INSTITUTE.
ANNUAL MFETING. Airs Brosnahan presided over a good attendance of the above and the meeting opened with the singing of the Ode to Friendship. Nominations were then taken for position of president, Airs J. Brosnahan being unanimously re-e-lect-ed. Great regret was expressed at the resignation of the secretary and treasurer, Airs D. Wards and Airs Wills, neither wishing to he reelected. Airs H. Henderson was elected secretary and Airs Faval treasurer. For the following year the points prizes were to he drawn half-yearly, Airs J. Brosnahan offering to donate the first; 'prize. The competition for the month was won by Muss Pinfold, Airs PinFold being second. A vote of thanks was passed to tlie president, secretary and treasurer for their work in the past ye at, Mrs J. Brosnahan, 011 behalf of her felloe members, thanked Airs ards for the use of her kitchen on Institute days. After a. pleasant afternoon tea the meeting came to a close.
