CAVEAT EMPTOR! TUK famous old La tin adage, “'Caveat Emptor,” when translated into English, means, "Let the buyer beware.” To-day, as in the old days, it is just as necessary for the Buyer to exercise caution. When you buy advertised goods yon are safe. A. man who is not sure of his goods dare not advertise. Advertising would only increase the number of people who tried his product and found it wanting. Only goods which are consistently good can be consistently advertised. Manufacturers who advertise MUST give good value because they have a good name to protect. A product becomes well known because its name is a guarantee of GOOD goods of full measure and fair price. By buying advertised products you are proterting yourself against fraud and inferiority. Beware of substitutes which are offered you when you ask for an advertised product. LET THE BUYER BEWARE BEWARE OF SUBSTITUTES
