SCOTS’ COLLEGE, SYDNEY.

N.Z. HEADMASTER APPOINTED. Electric Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH. This Day Mr A. Iv. Anderson, headmaster of St. Andrew’s College, has been appointed principal of Scots College, Sydney, from more than 30 applicants from England, Australia .and New Zealand. Mr Anderson will assume his new position in January. 1935. Scots College is the leading Presbyterian Boys’ College in New South Wales and one of the State’s great public schools. Mr Anderson was appointed headmaster at St. Andrew’s in 1920. He was then 28 years of age and the youngest, principal in any secondary school in Australia and' New Zealand. He is a member of the University Entrance Board and president of the Association of Heads of Registered Secondary Schools in New Zealand. Mr Anderson’s career as headmaster of St. Andrew’s has been one of marked success.
