N.Z. YEAR BOOK.

We have to hand from the Government Statistician the 1934 issue of the New Zealand Official YearBook. Compiled in the census and statistics office it is the most complete work imaginable. Yearly it furnishes fuller detail and this 42nd issue is quite the best and most informative to he circulated. Necessarily the book has to be limited in scope but the brevity of treatment detracts little from its essential purpose-. The Year Book deals faithfully and concisely with New Zealand, its history, constitution, population, health, public services, trade, industries, finance Government, societies, principal events, sports and potentialities. No- avenue is left unexplored, untabulated. It is a volume that many people and most firms would find indispensable. Its wealth of information contains much that is surprising, much that is absorbing, all that- is interesting. As usual it has been most excellently produced by the Government Printer.
