Although a true bill has been returned by the Grand Jury, which considered the double murder charge against William Alfred Bayly. no decision has been reached as to when his trial will begin. No intimation has been, received by the Crown Solicitor or the Registrar as to whether the defence proposes to apply for a change of venue, or how Ion" it will be before the preparation of the defence is completed. The case has been formally Wht down for hearing at- the Supreme Court session which opened yesterday, but it is expected that ail application will be made soon for a special fixture.
