PARS ABOUT PEOPLE.

Mr and Mrs A. J. Goer are spending a holiday at Eastbourne. Mr Keith 'Dyer, of Wellington, is the guest of Mr P. R. Boagey. Mr Garth Grocott, of Wellington, spent the New Year in Pahiatua.

Mr R. Bunny, of Masterton, was the guest of Mr F. White, at Tane, for the tennis tournament.

Messrs W. Swainson and R. Blackburn, of Manakau, have been the guests of Mr and Mrs J. G. Swainson.

Messrs C. E. B. Irving and Alan Walker, of the Bank of New Zealand staff, motored to Plimmerton. for the New Year. Mr R. Williams, postmaster at Otahuhu, an important- suburban district of Auckland, and formerly of Pongaroa, is at present on a visit to his sister, Mrs P. Hynes, River Road, Masterton.

Messrs S. Fernandez and C. Evans-Scott (Wellington), Duckworth (Palmerston North) and Gordon McLeod (Martinborough> were guests at the Post Office Hotel for the tennis tournament.
