LADIES GUILD.

There was a good attendance at the monthly meeting of the Presbyterian Ladies’ Social Guild, held in St. Paul’s schoolroom. Tlie president (Airs K. L. Warren) presided. Two new members, Airs A Lurch and Airs Grantham, were welcomed. The members expressed pleasure with the splendid result of the recent gift shop. Arrangements are in hand tor tlie anniversarv tea to be held in October. Mrs Aiurch rendered a pianoforte solo and Airs Warren a humorous reading. Both items were very much appreciated. The hostesses, ATrs Fairweather and Airs Grantham, dispensed a very dainty afternoon tea.
