INSTITUTE MEETING. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The monthly meeting of the Kohinui W.I. was held in the hall when Mrs Moynahan presided. All arrangements were made for the birthday party to be held on September 29th. Each member was asked to subscribe Id towards the Gov-ernor-General’s Relief Fund. Mrs A. H. EJlmers demonstrated the method of performing artificial respiration for the apparently drowned. The competition for the most articles in a slide match-box was won by Mrs W. Fulton, with 122 articles.

Another competition was won by Mrs A. H. El liners. The hostesses were Mrs E. H. J. Miller and Mrs J. Fulton.
