As the swollen streams receded, troops recovered 45 more bodies in. San Luis Potosi and 21 in Tampico. A message from Newborn (North Carolina) states that 15 were dead, many missing and hundreds homeless, with property loss at a million dollars as the North Carolina coast to-night counted the cost of the hurricane oil Friday and Saturday. There are still many small communities almost wholly desolate and lacking food and shelter.
