MAN BURNED BY EXPLOSION. Electric Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND. September 1. As the result of an explosion of gunpowder at his home in Brecon Road, Stratford, Mr W. R. Mark was severely burned on the hands and face. Alter receiving attention he was admitted to the hospital. The powder was three years old and had been lying outside for the last four days in the rain.
