Just This f DISTINCTIVE PRINTING. \ r OD order a Job, a Circular or a s_ Letterhead maybe—and leave it to the Printer to turn out something that will do. You may get something tasteful or you may get work that is puite commonplace. It depends large ly upon the skill and originality of those who design the work and the type and other materials that are available for their nse in setting it/ out. Other factors are the quality of the paper and inks, character of the press, and the workmanship of those who do the actual printing. But Design is the principal thing. It is recognised that the kind of printing the business man requires is something a little different—or better than the or dinary—work that has a distinctive personality. Whether it be a Billhead, a'Catalogue, or an Advertising Inset, it must be made sufficiently attractive to demand attention Distinctive designing is what our Jobbing Specialists aim at. They are assisted by a very large stock of type, first quality paper, and a careful staff of printers with up-to-date electrically driven machinery. ?AHIATUA HERALD CO. L HE famous old Latin adage, “Caveat ilmptor,” when translated into English, means, ‘•Let the buyer beware.” To-day, as in the old days, it, ;s just as necessary for the Buyer to exercise caution. When you buy advertised goods you are safe. A man who is not sure of his goons dare not advertise. Advertising would only increase the number of people who tried his product and found it wanting. Only goods which are consistently good, can be consistently advertised. Manufacturers who advertise MUST give good value because they have a good name to protect. A product becomes well known because its name is a guaiantee of GOOT> goods of full measure and fair price. By buying advertised products you are proterting yourself against fraud and inferiority. Beware of substitutes which are offered you when you ask for an advertised product. LET THE BUYER BEWARE BEWARE OF SUBSTITUTES
