GERMAN REFUGEES. (Received 10 a.m.) United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, August 16. The Times Paris correspondent says that the Metz, Colmar and Strassburg Chambers of Commerce havo protested to the Government! against the influx of German refugees from eastern departments, totalling 40,000, whose competition, threatens local traders and floods the labour market. Tlie position is becoming worse daily.
