Mr Justice Ostler sentenced Joseph Hyman to three-' years’ imprisonment for the theft of £Bl3 in silver the property of William Toomev. of Auckland, on June 4th. Hugh Glover, on a similar charge was ordered to come up for sentence if called upon. The Judge siiid the .Hyman was the master, mind in connection with tlie. theft. Leniency was extended to Glover on account of ill-health. David Walker, for indecent offences, was sentenced to two years.
