Utilising relief labour, the farmers of Pourakino riding, in the Wallace county, have almost entirely cleared an area of 60,000 acres of rabbits in six months. It is estimated that 250,000 rabbits have been killed ny fumigators, and the stock carrying capacity has been largely increased.
