LOW BUTTER PRICES

LONDON MARKET IRREGULAR. The London butter market sagged rather badly last week, prices declining to a new low level. On Friday New Zealand salted butter was quoted at 67s to 695, and in some cases Is higher, as against 71s to 72s a week previously, a fall of 2s to 4s cwt. Australian butter fared rather worse, and prices dropped fully 5s a. cwt to 65s to 675. Panish at 90s to 91s, on spot, showed a fall of 2s to 4s.
