BUSH DISTRICT SUCCESSES. The Wairarapa Rifie Association held, its annual meeting on the Papa wai Range, Grevtown, on Saturday, when there was a good muster of shooters from the Wairarapa, Wellington and elsewhere. Some good scores were registered during the day, tlie champions!] ip being won bv H. K. Smith (Gorki) with a grand aggregate 0! 239. The handicap aggregate* was also secured by this competitor. In the service match 10s was won by J. Sargent (Makomako) and H. C. Percy (All re*lt on). F. C. Ehbetr (Mi’.komn ko) and J. p. Sigvertsen won 2s each. In the Biclwiil match (ten shots at 300 yaicLs) J. P. Sigvertsen. St Blewetf (Turania) and V. -C. F.hbett won 10s each. Among those counted out was F. Bolton (“Oebe”). H. Percy (Alfredton) won 5s in the Buchanan match '(ten idiots at 50c) yards). Blewett, Fbbett and Percv were counted out. In the Wellington match of 600 yards F. Bolton and' N. Petersen (Tarnrun) won 10s each. G. Dav K Ehhett and Blewett were counted out. Jin the Hand; can Teams Mutch, Opaki No. 2 was third, winning 91 the t-'nm comprising H. K. Smith 143, E. AT.
