THE KING’S MESSAGE.
EMPIRE BROADCAST. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, November 24. The King broadcasts his Christmas message to the Empire on December 25th. The message will be transmitted through the new Empire station. This will be His Majesty’s first direct broadcast to the people. Hitherto only speeches at official functions were wirelessed. The King will probably broadcast from his study at Sandringham, where Their (Majesties spend Christmas. A special microphone is being installed.
