FATAL INJURIES
OLD MAN STRUCK BY MOTORCYCLE. Electric Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, Last Night. Fatal injuries were received by James Bent Warner, aged seventy, a stationer, of Ponsonbv, as a result of being struck by a motorcycle and side van in the city. Air Warner received a fractured skull and died in hospital. The rider of the cycle, Kenneth Parnell, was thrown off and received head injuries. His condition is not serious.
