PAHIATUA CHEERIO ENTERTAINERS
The Cheerio Entertainers, under the management of Messrs Ogg and Greaves, gave a delightful concert at Himnui to a large and appreciative audience. The Overture by the Pierrot Orchestra was a bright and snappy item which delighted the audience. From the rise of the curtain the programme, which was a varied one, including dancing, was of a vaudeville nature, and every item was highly acceptable. A delicious supper was arranged by Miss Beresford, Mrs R. Lowe and their assistants and was much apprec ated. Mrs Boyeus sang “The Blue Dannlnj” and for her encore sang “E Pari Ra.” At the conclusion of the concert dancing was indulged in, the music being supplied by Misses Hurt, Beresford and others. 'The company will appear at Eketahuna this evening.
