ODDFELLOWS’ LODGE
INTERESTING BANTERN LECTURE. Bro. A. E. South, N.G., presided over the meeting of Loyal Alangatainoka Lodge, A1.U.1.0.0.F., held last night, there being a good attendance. Accounts amounting to £1 9s 2d „were passed for payment. N.G. Bro. South reported on the Friendly Societies’ card tournament. After the Lodge had been formally closed, P.G. Bro. H. A. Bick delivered a lantern lecture on the Near East. The discourse proved to be very interesting and Bro. Bick’s efforts were appreciated by those present, representatives of the Foresters’ Lodge being included among the listeners. A hearty vote of thanks to the lecturer, moved by Bro. L. Parker, ot the Foresters’ Lodge, was carried by acclamation. Refreshments were provided.
