FUNERAL OF MR. C. LIVERTON
The funeral of the late Mr Charles Lirerton took place on Friday afternoon at the Eketaliuna Cemetery, when there was a large cortege, including residents of the Wairarapa, to pay their last mark of respect.
A service at the house was conducted by tlie Rev. E. W. Bttrgin. o Pongaroa, who also pronounced the committal at the graveside. A Masonic service was also conducted at the graveside by the \Y.M of Lodge Puketoi, No. 149 <\Yor. Bro. A. R. Carley) assisted bv his officers.
'Hie pall-bearers were Messrs M Robffie. H. Higginson. J. Bobbie. Graham R. McLean and J. Bassett. Iho chief mourners were Messrs John and Charles Liverton, uith the deceased’s half-brothers, i\- e iT rs Rol i e . rt Liverton (Blairlogie). « illiani Liverton (Waihoki) and George Liverton (Wellington), and an, nn.clc, Mr Horne (Kapone) \ large number of beautiful wreaths was received, including some front Wellington, Masterton and surrounding districts.
