FOUND IN HARBOUR
BODY OF MISSING MAN
Missing from bis lodgings in Kilbirnie since July 2d. the body oi Gilbert Davy Bettger, a middle-aged man, i\as taken from the harbour about half a mile on the Pet-ore -idof Ngaliauranga yesterday. Deceased was formerly- a clerk in the Railway Lands Office. It is reported that prior to his disappearance lie had been depressed on account of bis wife’s death two years ago, but bad given no indications of suicidal tendencies. He is survived by a daughter living in Auckland.
