MASTERTON STOCK SALE
Associated Live Stock. Ltd , report: We held our usual weekly sale at the Columba Rond Yards, when we yarded an entry of stock well up to advertised numbers. Several pens of fat wethers came forward, but the majority of these were not prime, and buyers were not keen in their bidding, although we considered prices favourable. Buyers were interested in store sheep at the late values. Dairy cattle did not meet with a very good demand. Following were our prices: Fat wethers, 17s to 18s; forward wethers, 15s; store wethers, 10s to 12s; backward wechers, 7s 6d to Bs-; and forward ewes, 10s to 10s 9d; store ewes. 8s fid to 9s 3d ; b.f. two-tooths. 16s to I 8 «; cows on drop, £6 to £8; second culvers, £5 to £6; springing Heifers, £4 10s to £5 ss.
