OBITUARY.

MRS WILLIAM A. SCOTT The death occurred on Sunday, after a brief illness, of Mrs Scott, wife of Mr William A. Scott, of 214 Oriental Parade, Wellington. Mrs Scott was a daughter of the late Mr Peter Mc-Ardle, formerly of Kelburn, and spent practically the whole of her life in Wellington, with one break of two years in Sydney. Mr J. J. W. WHITE. The death i s announced by the Press Association from Blenheim of Mr John James Winsbury White, a very old resident of Marlborough, formerly Clerk of the Marlborough Provincial Council, and ex-district agent of the Public Trustee. He had filled many public positions. - MR C. UDDSTROM. Mr Charles Uddstrom, aged 64, dropped dead at, his residence at Cobden yesterday morning, reports a Press Association message from Greymoutli. A native, of Sweden, the late Mr Uddstrom came to New' Zealand when a lad. He was interested in the timber and furniture trade, and 1 wavs formerly a member of the Grey Power and. Cobden Town Boards. MR E. MEAD A Press Association message from Blenheim reports the dentil on Set urday of Mr E. Mead, aged 80, exfiecretarv of the Marlborough Chambers of Commerce, ex-secretary of the Marlborough Club, a.nd a prominent business man.
