PAHIATUA TOWN AND DISTRICT EARTHQUAKE DISASTER FUND. APPEAL FOR - SUBSCRIPTIONS. THE Pahiatua Town and District Earthquake Relief Committee has decided to issue an appeal to the citizens of this town and district for funds towards assisting the victims of the Hawke’s Bay Earthquake Disaster. In view of the fact that many of the sufferers have lost relatives besides every worldly possession, the urgent need of assistance towards restoring order from chaos, cannot be too strongly stressed. The Committee would respectfully and earnestly request your immediate cooperation. All subscriptions will be acknowledged through the local Press and amounts may be paid to the chairman, Mr J. D. Wilson, the Treasurer. Mr P. R. Boagey, or the joint Secretaries, Mr J. Hutton and Mr L. D. Lovelock J. D WILSON, Chairman.
