WEDDING BELLS.

RENNIE—HOLD A WAY. The marriage was solemnised on Tuesday at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Palmerston North, of Doris Aljce, eldest daughter of Mr Leslie H. Holdaway, of Ballance, to Robert Davidson, youngest son of Mr and Mrs W Rennie, of Wanganui. Rev. G. T.' Brown. M.A., performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a long sleeved gown of ivory satin, close fitting bodice and fully-flared ankle-length skirt, with a veil of embroidered Brussels net, held in place by a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a shower bouquet of pink and cream roses and. maiden-hair fern. The bridesmaid, Miss Clarice Holdaway, sister of the bride, wore a frock of soft blue georgette, ankle length, fully flared skirt, with shoulder cape trimmed with embossed georgette and wore a large pale blue felt hat. She carried a bouciuet of autumn tinted flowers. Mr Frank Smith, of Wanganui, was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at Messrs Collinson and C unningliame’s tearooms. The bridal couple left for Wellington, the bride travelling in d nigger brown tailored costume, with hat and shoes to tone.
