PAHIATUA LADY’S SUCCESS. The semi-finals and finals in the Dannevirke Golf Club’s ladies’ tournament were played off yesterday in ideal weather. In the semi-finals of the Southern Hawke’s Bay championship, Yliss Betty Gaisford (Marton) defeated Miss J. Robertson (Damievirke) eight up and six to play, and Mrs Collinson (Palmerston North) defeated Miss Richardson (Wellington) three up and two to play. 11l the final Miss Gaisford defeated Mrs Collinson three up and five to play. Miss Blanche Vincent (Pahiatua) won the senior bogey competition on the first day, being three up.
