Pahiatua County Council fDUBLIC notice is hereby given that' by warrant appearing- in the New Zealand Gazette, No 17, 6th March, 1930, Page 702. the control of that bridge sver the- Mar.gatainokn River situated on the M'angahao Road and known as the Mangatainoka River Bridge is vestedi *in the Pahiatua County Council, together with the protection works for a distance of fifty (50) chains above, and ten (10) chains -below the said bridge. The cost of maintaining the said bridge, less such contribution (if any) a s may be made thereto by the Government of- New Zealand or the Main Highways Board, and excluding the- cost of maintaining the- said protection-works, shall be borne- by the Pahiatua County Council and the Pahiatua Borough Council in the following proportions—viz:—The- Pahiatua. County Council shall bear forty (40) per centum of such costand the Pahiatua Borough Council shall bear sixty (60) per centum of such cost respectively ; the cost of maintaining the aforesaid protectionworks, less such contribution (if my) as may be. made thereto by the Government of New Zealand or the Main Highways Board shall be borne, by the Pahiatua.
