KAITAWA HOCKEY CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Kaitaiva. Hockey Club was held in the Kaitaw-a Public Hall fast night. I here was a splendid attendance and several new members were enrolled Miss M. Lett was voted to the chair, in the unavoidable absence of the president, Mr W. S. The meeting stood in silence for a minute as a mark of respect for the late Mr \\ . H. Morrison, a former patron of the club. ** The balance-sheet for the year was read and adopted. Officers for the ensuing twelve months were elected as followsPresident, Mr W. S. Lett; secretaiy . Mrs M. Stevenson ; captain, aliss M. Lett; vice-captain. Miss M. Morrison; coach, Mr N. Sykes; selector, Mr M. Stevenson; delegates to Bush Association, Messrs f. Condon, !\. Sykes. The medal given 'by Mr A. Knox for the player showing the most improvement during the 1929 season w-as unanimously awarded to Miss !-.. Field. Mr T. Condon lias donated two medals for the coming seas<>n—one to be given to the beginner showing the most improvement and the other trophy for older members. The chi], passed a vote of thanks to those owners of ears who conveyed the team to matches during the past season, and to all who had assisted in any other way.
