“THE SPY”—TO-NIGHT AND TO-MORROW. The spectacular Fritz Lang production, “The Spy,” which is to be the attraction at the King’s Theatre tonight and to-morrow evening, promises local moviegoers some big thrills. The picture revolves around the evil machinations of an underground Spy Organisation, that pits its powers against the Secret Service, in the pursuit of power. It does not stop even at murder, robbery or violence in its career r.nd throughout the production, Director Fritz Lung, piles thrill upon thrill in order to make “The Spy” stand out above all other mystery stories. He has gathered together artists of International reputation, and the picture is remarkable for some wonderful character acting. It is not a war picture. Gerda Mnurus gives a remarkable interpretation of the heroine, Willy Fritscli as No. 326 of the Secret Service, and Rudolph Klein-Roggc as “Haghi” the lame Russian banker are principals in a superbly cast picture. It is adapted, from the novel by Tliea Van Harbou (also the authoress of “Metropolis” and “Variety.”) The picture was filmed in England and Germany. There will be a special matinee on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
